Always find the staff very helpful and caring
I tried to register as a temporary patient for repeat prescriptions at this surgery. I am a live in carer and travel throughout the U.K. looking after the elderly in their homes. I am moving to another placement early next week but need long term medication before then. I have a repeat prescription form from another Surgery. I was told blankly there are no appointments try ringing Friday at 8.00am! I cant afford to leave it until Friday to possibly be told no appointments. This surgeries front line person was appalling and unfortunately very similar to many Medical Centres. I do caring as a living, if I treated my clients with no empathy or just totally uninterested in them I would not have any work. I needed a prescription for long term medication, thats all, was it really that difficult? I moved from New Zealand 6 years ago, part of the Commonwealth by the way! Reciprocal medical agreements. However you didnt even ask me name!
Lovely practice with very friendly and accommodating reception staff, excellent doctors and kind and friendly nurse/midwifery team. A thoughtful practice who really care about their patients.
