We dropped in for lunch and found a warm welcome and good service at the Old Drum. We are dog owners and we absolutely get that the "fur kids" are not always welcome everywhere, but the Old Drum is dog friendly and relaxed. Overall they manage a good balance between comfy and trendy, with a clean and stylish ambiance complimented by a range of well-kept ales and a good choice of wines. The menu is short but well balanced with something for everyone; we both had the chicken schnitzel and they were perfect - crisp and golden on the outside and moist and tasty within.So in summary, service, ambience, food and drink get five stars... We will be back!
Went here for lunch another amazing pub with good atmosphere and trendy decor. The food very tasty, I had the cod and the mrs had the chicken schnitzel both plates were left clean. The staff are polite and cautious. Would recommend both the pub and the food.
The food was absolutely delicious. They have a choice of European cuisine. You have to try the chicken schnitzel with absolutely devine onion potato salad! The chef gave us a little sample of a goulash he had been cooking and fellas I command you to go there and enjoy it! We would be definitely coming back to The Old Drum that's for sure.

Meeting friends for birthday drinks at 8pm..."sorry we're just closing." What??! Okay, it was a quiet Tuesday night but still. They turned away another 2 or 3 customers whilst I was getting over the shock outside.
